Sanguine is proud to announce the
MONDERÉVÉLÉ
books -- supplements for both the
IRONCLAW and the
JADECLAW
games. Describing other places of mystery and wonder in the
"known world," these books will be designated by their
blue banner. Continuing Sanguine's commitment to holistic gaming,
Monderévélé books will have richly-detailed settings, new
options for players, and adventures with scheming villians,
oppressed victims, ruthless schemers, and grand drama in the
style of high adventure.
- In the north, beyond the Diamond Mountains, lies the cold
kingdom of CHAO-XIAN. Regarded as barbarians by the
Zhonggese and as strange savages by the Calabrese, the
people of Chao-Xian have developed their own culture and
competing religions in relative isolation. But with the
rest of the world encroaching upon their soil, can the
old ways endure? Kris Schnee writes his first book for
Sanguine.
- The NINE TRIBES, called the Xi Buluomen by the Zhonggese,
are the various peoples who claim the western deserts as
their home. Diana Wray, a contributor to JADECLAW,
produces her first book for Sanguine.
- HIGH SEAS, the first book in the Known World series,
takes our heroes from terra-firma and onto the oceans
blue. Dangers lurk from monsters under the waves, pirates
on the shipping lanes, and mysterious phenomena from sky
and sea. Pieter van Heil (DOLOREAUX) brings this blend of
history and fantasy.
- Often thought to be a minor nation, the nobles of humble
TAIAM have seen the riches the world have to offer, and
they would not be denied. Jim Lai, a frequent contributor
to Avalanche Press' books, writes his first book for
Sanguine's Known World to describe one of the strangest
places to be found, where those who would sell the
secrets of other lands could earn vast riches ... or
deadly enemies.
- FEYADEEN describes the mysterious brotherhood of traders
who have agents all over the world. Are they religious
fanatics? Keepers of secret mysteries? The greatest spy
network the world has ever seen? The truth, as usual, is
somewhere in between. Justin Mohareb brings you new
player-options, hidden places, dark corridors in
abandonded ruins, odd artifacts of a bygone age, and an
unexpected plot-twist or two with his first book for the
Known World.
